Power School Grades:
Parents, please note that progress reports are sent home with your students each Wednesday, and are due back to your Advisory teacher signed the following day. Make sure to check your students’ grades regularly! Grades can also be accessed online at: https://echsonline.powerschool.com/public/ and your login information is available from the main office.
Parent Institute for Quality Education:
The Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) provides training & awareness sessions to inform parents and families about what is needed for their children to be successful in school. PIQE’s 9-week program provides parents with information, knowledge, skills, & a personal commitment to improve the conditions surrounding the educational and personal development of their children. Parents learn how to navigate the school system and better understand what classes their children must take to prepare themselves for a post-secondary education.

College:
At ECHS, we expect all of our students to be preparing for college throughout their four years here. Our curriculum is designed so that students take the classes they need to be ready to apply to and be successful in four-year universities. In addition to our school program, which includes supplemental college prep classes each year and SAT preparation in 11th grade, please have your students sign up for the SAT and ACT beginning in their 11th grade year. Dates and information regarding college tests can be found on our website and more information is available at:
http://www.collegeboard.com/testing/.
Additionally, we recommend that your students sign up for community college classes in the summer. Please check with your counselor to obtain more information about how to sign up for UC-approved courses.
Financial Aid:
The financial aid process is important and can also be confusing. PIQE classes help parents understand the financial aid process, and the following website for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid will also be useful: www.fafsa.ed.gov/.
School Uniforms:
ECHS has a Mandatory Uniform Policy. Uniform dress is required to be worn by all students. All uniforms must be neat and clear. Violations to the dress code will result in school disciplinary action. The school uniform policy will accommodate students’ religious expression. Please download and read the policy here
