Grand Opening of Environmental Charter Middle School September 10th, Inglewood
Environmental Charter Schools is expanding its successful educational program by opening a new middle school, Environmental Charter Middle School (ECMS).
Come learn about this new school and its innovative programs from Environmental Charter Middle School’s Board, Executive Director, Principal, and Staff -- plus these just-added special guest speakers:
Rachel Gutter, Director of the Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is widely recognized as one of the nation’s foremost experts on the topic of green schools. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the Council is the driving force of the green building industry.
Tom Feegel, Board member of Environmental Charter Schools, is the Founder of GreenMyParents, (GMP) a revolutionary, nationwide program to inspire and enlist young people to teach their peers and parents how to work together to help the economy, save money at home, and save the planet through simple, everyday actions.
Confirmed guests include Inglewood City Councilman Ralph L. Franklin, and representatives from the offices of State Assemblymember Steven C. Bradford and Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas.
