Environmental Charter School, a 501c3, is a model for Green learning founded ten years ago in Los Angeles. Launched through ECS, Green  Ambassador Institute provides an award-winning green curriculum program education to under-served schools in the state of California and will ultimately expand nationwide in 2011 in a partnership with Global
Green USA.

ECS has been changing the lives and the future of students for ten years, using a rigorous college-prep curriculum and extending hands-on-learning into the community.

*Boasting a 97% rate of students going to college, ECHS was recently recognized as one of six high schools in the nation as finalists for President Obama's "Race to the Top" Commencement Challenge.
